After completing my master’s studies in Basel, I developed an interest in RNA research and moved to Bern to join the Leidel Group. Here I’m exploring the physiological roles of noncanonical RNA caps in humans and the involvement of NUDIX hydrolases in decapping. Lab work is already nice, but if the experiments are colorful, that is even better. Outside the lab, I enjoy colorful plants, sunshine, and chocolate.
