Joël Roth

I am currently studying molecular life science at the University of Bern. Regarding my studies, I am especially interested in RNA biology and translation. After I had the opportunity to join Sebastian’s lab for my bachelor’s thesis, I happily returned for my master’s thesis as well, where I am currently investigating
co-translational protein folding in the context of tRNA modification mutants. Outside my time in the lab, I enjoy working out, listening to podcasts, hiking, and watching sports.
