I studied Biochemistry (M.Sc.) at Heidelberg University, completing my master’s degree with a focus on nucleic acid chemistry and molecular biology. In early 2025, I joined the Leidel group in Bern as a Ph.D. candidate. My project aims to shed light on the function of epitranscriptome interactions in translation regulation in human cells and their role in disease pathogenesis particularly in carcinogenesis.
Outside of the laboratory, I am passionate about art, animals, and music. In particular, I enjoy painting landscapes and animals with watercolours and acrylics.
