My research has always revolved around tRNAs and their modifications. I started my career in Chile studying the role of modifications during development. For my Ph.D., I joined Sebastian’s lab where I’m currently looking into how the modifications influence translation dynamics and the ribosomal/protein quality controls associated with the response. In my free time, I like to relax by playing video games or (when the weather allows it) spending the afternoons by the river.
