I completed my master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, where I studied mRNA and protein modifications involved in translational regulation. In late 2024, I joined the Leidel lab as a PhD student. My research focuses on the role of ribosome-associated chaperones in protein synthesis and translation quality control, using yeast as a model system.
Outside the lab, I enjoy watching films, travelling, going for walks in the park, and spending sunny afternoons by the river.
